Getting Bigger

Lemon Tree

I bought summer citrus food on Saturday because I feed the lemon tree on summer food when the clocks change. A present from Mother when we stayed down in Devon, it produced quite a few lemons last year. Now it has many new leaves just starting to grow and some flower buds too.

Good Weekend

What a nice weekend we had. I braved the Hereford traffic to go to the garden centre and came back with a gooseberry bush, some herbs and a rhubarb plant for the garden. I also discovered that we can get pallets from them, very handy as we use so much wood with all our projects [...]

Ducklings

Ducklings are very difficult to photograph. They have now been renamed the Mucklings, because of the mess they make.
When we first got them they were so small they lived in a corner of the sitting room. Two days ago they moved out into a smaller duckhouse within the larger duck run in the garden.

Fence

The garden is fully fenced now. The compost heap corner is outside the fence as this is where most of the rabbits live and we don’t want to lose Boogie and Spike down their holes.
